Having limped away into safety, Dot(Liu) is rescued by an aspiring
alchemist named Jerry(Wilder), who makes venom anti-toxin in a makeshift lab in the back.
A connection between the two forms and he convinces her to have sex
in a drained pool full of snakes, using the timeless promise of marriage
if they have intercourse. Why she would agree to such a thing with
a complete stranger is beyond most people's comprehension, leaving
many to question the filmwriter's choice of sub-plots.
