The problem looks to be going out of control and Caine (Firth) convinces
Carlsen (Railsback) to tell the truth about what really happened on the Churchill.
It turns out he couldn't pull himself away from the alien girl (May) while he was
onboard and broke the seal of her capsule to be with her. Slowly, she drained some
of his energy and in return, gave some of hers to him. Connected by this invisible
force, the two now sensed and felt each other more than ever. Railsback does a great
job in this scene, maintaining the sickly look even as he kisses a beautiful, young, naked actress.
