Talking to Dr. Broussard (Sands), his patient/lover Bernadine (Crewson) reveals
a secret: she has not only been cheating on her husband with him, but also with
another woman. Becoming stiff and blank, Broussard tries to process this confession
of bisexualism, but there is a deeper meaning to his emotions that only come to light
later in the film when his other personality is revealed. The woman shown with Bernadine
is described as being "younger", but the identity is never revealed. We are led to believe it is
Kittrie (Wilson) who picked her up at a clothing store. But it could be Mary (Young) who is played
as a younger woman. Or it could be a different person altogether.
