Looking for Ramana(Holt), Noro(Lee) stumbles upon a group of
Short Ears women frollicking in a pond. When he gets closer, he finds
they are not playing happily, but torturing Ramana for enjoying the
company of Noro, a Long Earsmen. By now, it is self-evident that
there is an underlying hatred and animosity between the two clans since
the Short Ears have been relegated to the lower class. Although the lovers
feel no prejudice, they become victims of it.
