Inspired by Viola(Paltrow), Shakespeare(Fiennes) has transformed his former comedy about a pirate's daughter, into an everlasting love
story. However, it is an ongoing revision, as he gets further inspiration everyday he spends with his Juliet: the lovely Viola. Here,
the players practice the touching balcony conversation between Romeo and Juliet, as the scene is interspliced with
Shakespeare and Viola making love while rehearsing the same lines that have become more than words on paper,
but almost a prose of love, devotion, and aphrodisiac between the two young lovers. Funny and touching, this
scene warmly highlights the bond that has formed, re-iterating the timeless knowledge that a pastime best experienced, is when
you can share it with the one you love.
