Thinking she has the whole house to herself, Betty(McDormand) finishes her shower and walks
back to her room to change with only a towel wrapped around her head and her right
arm clutching another towel. But she hears noises and quickly wraps herself up. It
turns out it is only the television and she heads to the living room to turn it off.
Although McDormand is not known for her physical attractiveness, credit must be given
for her willingness to expose herself. However, this first shot of nudity begins an
unsettling pattern of gratuitous nudity.
