Ralph(Modine), unsettled by Marian's (Moore) affair, decides to confront her as she shows
off some of her work. This unnerves her, causing her to spill wine on her dress which
she quickly tries to wash and dry off. She then proceeds to walk around skirtless as
the undignified truth about the night of her transgression surfaces. She was drunk and
it meant nothing to her. But to Ralph, it meant a lot. She should've been more careful.
Drunkiness is no excuse.
