After a gala dance where Catherine(Russo) dressed all too prevocably, Thomas(Brosnan) takes her back to his
townhome where they engage in a little more fun. First they roll around on the marbled foyer, than the
stairs, then the upstairs study, on the table, and finally off the table. McTiernan
really didn't need to show more than frontal nudity in order to achieve his intended effect: fun. A lip locking scene wouldn't
have sufficed because this relationship needed to appear more eccentric, akin to the characters' personalities.
