The girls have received an invitation to attend a baby shower for their old friend
Laney (Wheeler-Nicholson), which is quite surprising considering her history. In a flashback,
Laney is revealed to be a wild, uninhibited woman who was destined to party her way through life.
How odd it is that she has become a regular suburban housewife. The girls mull over the
invitation, but Samantha's (Cattrall) long-standing rivalry seems to convince them to go. Afterall,
it would be nice to see how big she has become.
